Andal targets new market with upcoming cloud serviceAndal Softwareâs latest cooperation with Japan-based IT corporation TIS will allow it to expand to cater to companies with smaller staffs â less than 150 people
Andal Software's latest cooperation with Japan-based IT corporation TIS will allow it to expand to cater to companies with smaller staffs ' less than 150 people. Andal is scheduled to launch the new service, currently called 'Andal Paymaster for Cloud', which was built in the cloud system, on Oct. 28.
Andal Software, established since 1988, specializes in the creation of payroll and human resource (HR) software for enterprises. Its main product, Andal Paymaster, has been around for almost a decade, and it is one of the very few software packages for payroll available in the Indonesian market.
The company's director, Indra Sosrodjojo, deemed that its software was most suitable for companies with more than 300 employees.
'It's not wrong for companies to use the Andal Paymaster if they have less than 300 employees, but it would be a more costly choice ' especially when it has a staff of less than 150,' Indra explained to The Jakarta Post during an interview at Andal's office on Friday.
Andal joined forces with TIS to develop a system that would better suit companies with smaller staffs. Indra is confident that the cloud version of Andal Paymaster, combined with its 'monthly rent' payment system, would be a more cost-efficient choice for companies with smaller staffs. This is possible due to the much-reduced implementation cost of the software.
The cloud version service is expected to be priced at Rp 5,500,000 (US$456.50) per month and will include an all-in service and Andal Linkage (Andal Software's web-based HR application). The all-in service package comes with free training, which will provide its clients with the necessary knowledge to operate the software.
Andal's current ' and still growing ' database of companies with less than 100 employees around Jakarta listed more than 10,000 potential customers.
