Indonesian chef showcases magnificent culinary skills

The Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism, Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Haji Apong was the guest of honour at the event hosted by the Indonesian Embassy in Brunei Darussalam in collaboration with The Rizqun International Hotel.

The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa, followed by welcoming remarks by Chief of Mission of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Brunei Darussalam, Arko Hananto Budiadi.

"This event is hoped to strengthen the bilateral ties between our two countries," he said, adding that Indonesia has more than 400 ethnic groups with each having their own cuisine.

The event was held in conjunction with the Indonesian Food Festival and Brunei December Festival 2017.
