Trash Art Exhibition at Adi’s Gallery
Ubud: Artist Adi Bachman is displaying his experimental-art paintings and sculptures at Adi’s Gallery in Ubud, which will run through July 29.
In the exhibition, the artist is presenting his latest sculpture projects named My Friend Sisyphus, The Wheel of Life, Greed Traps, Totems with Taboos and What Happened to the Motor Bike.
Dinner for One, is one of the central pieces of the current exhibition.
His paintings show his experimentation with basic colors: blue, red and yellow, and black and white. These are used to express the experimental characters of this work and are presented on plywood and plastic materials instead of canvas.
The highlight of the exhibition are the items of “Objets trouves” — a wide assortment of pieces collected by the artist over the years, many comprised of items still commonly used in Balinese households.
