Roadwork to finish prior to Idul Fitri

Denpasar: The head of the Bali Public Works Agency, I Ketut Artika, aims to complete roadwork along the route from Denpasar to Gilimanuk Port by the seventh day before the Idul Fitri holiday.

Artika said that his agency was currently widening the Antosari-Pekutatan route and the Pekutatan-Negara route. Several sections of the routes, especially on the Tukad Yeh Ho Bridge and in Yeh Nu and Tukad Yeh Nusa, all located in Tabanan regency, have many hairpin turns and steep roads.

“We are currently repairing these spots,” Artika said as quoted by Antara agency on Wednesday.
