Eight factories blacklisted

JEMBRANA: The waste treatment facilities of eight factories in Pengam-bengan, Jembrana regency, have been put on the blacklist by the Environment Ministry.

According to information obtained on Tuesday, an environmental team had already conducted field examinations, while the announcement of which factories do not comply with waste management standards is yet to be made, according to Antara news agency.

Meanwhile, due to the Idul Fitri holidays, head of the Jembrana environment agency, Made Widana, has not made any confirmation and a text message sent to his mobile phone was not responded to.

A text message sent to Jembrana Regent I Putu Artha remained unanswered.
