Gilimanuk port busy as travelers return to Bali
Gilimanuk port has started to become busy again with travelers needing to return to work after spending their Lebaran holidays in Java.
“I will be back at work this evening, so I have to come back now,” Miyati, who works at a hotel in Denpasar, said on Tuesday.
Another reason for the quick return to Bali is for children to return to school.
“Actually my children should be at school today, and I want to quickly open my business again,” Sukriadi, who hails from Jember, East Java, said.
As observed at Gilimanuk, the ferries from Ketapang port in Banyuwangi were full of both vehicles and passengers, as reported by Antara news agency.
