JAKARTA: Gaikindo, or the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industry, is gearing up to hold its 16th Indonesian International Motor Show, to be held at the 18,000-square meter Jakarta Convention Center from July 11 to 20.
The annual exhibition will display cars from 22 manufacters and is set to attract 220,000 visitors and draw Rp 1.6 trillion (around US$172.04 million) in business, according to Johnny Darmawan, committee chief of the exhibition.
"We exceded our target of Rp 1.5 trillion last year, so I am sure we'll surpass this year's target," he said Wednesday.
Entry fees are to be Rp 30,000 on weekdays and Rp 35,000 on weekends. (JP/ind)
