The Information and Communications Ministry website has been hacked from 11:00 p.m. Wednesday through 9:30 a.m. Thursday,
Antara reported.
"Our website has been hacked. There was a message read prove that the law was not endorsed to cover the government stupidity...," the Information and Communications Ministry special staff Sukemi told
Antara.
The ministry's website had returned normal as of 9:30 a.m. Thursday, and the hacker had been identified, he said.
"Minister Muhammad Nuh, however, reminded us not to revenge the act as it will not make things better," he said.
He suspected that the hacking was related to the issuance of a new law that bans online porn. (***)
