5.7-magnitude earthquake rattles Ternate

A 5.7-magnitude earthquake shook North Maluku's Ternate on Saturday, but there were no immediate reports of casualties and damage.

The temblor, which struck at 11:23 a.m. local time, was centered 85 kilometers southwest of Ternate at a depth of 21 kilometers, the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency reported on its website. (***)
