Toyota releases New Corolla Altis 2.0 V as flagship model

PT Toyota Astra Motor, Toyota’s representative in Indonesia, has just released a new variant of the Toyota Altis, one of a handful of sedans to record the highest annual sales.

            Named New Corolla Altis 2.0 V, the 10th generation Corolla has a two-liter engine with Dual VVT-I technology, complete with AVX facilities with a sporty new grille in addition to paddle shift, smart start and entry system, cruise control, steering switch and auto rain sensor.

            Toyota expects the New Corolla to support its position as a market leader in private sedans. “We dedicated the Corolla 2.0V for the Indonesian market so that middle up executives will have a better choice in deciding the best car to ride,” said Johnny Darmawan, the president director of the company.          

            Adopting 3ZR-FE under the hood, the most recent engine technology on the market, the Corolla 2.0V is capable of quick acceleration while maintaining fuel efficiency and low emission. The three available variants are 1.8 J, G and 2.0 V with six color options.
