DHL, one of the world's leading express services, has held a business seminar to help Bandung importers and exporters in facing the global slowdown in trade.

            Held on May 12, the seminar confirmed that better understanding of both local and international trading regimes and regulations would be an essential aspect.

            Entitled “Maintaining Your Competitive Edge in a Global Downturn through More Efficient Export and Import”, the seminar attracted more than 50 senior business executives and was aimed at providing updates on the new regulations and perspectives from industry experts.

            Participants were also given a one-day tour of the DHL Express Gateway facility at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Jakarta,
