This year, Samudra’s moon cake selections are to go in luxurious green and gold packages that are perfect as gifts for family, relatives and business associates. Moon cake prices start from Rp 22,000++ while packages begin at Rp 170,000++.
Samudra’s moon cakes come with unique fillings like red lotus, green tea and red bean. Traditional choices include lotus seed, egg yolk, black bean paste, pandan and acorn.
These days, the Moon Festival in mid-autumn is very much likened to China’s answer to Thanksgiving, the time of the year when families gather to express their gratitude and eat great food.
