LG Mobile World Cup 2009
The final leg of the national LG Mobile World Cup 2009 held on Aug. 15 brought together the country’s fastest mobile typists to win a chance to represent Indonesia and become the fastest mobile typist in the world.
Some 200 finalists participated in the event at Djakarta Theater Ballroom in Central Jakarta, each of which joined the competition with LG’s leading mobile handsets: the LG GM200 for the Numeric category, and the new GW525 for the Qwerty category.
To make things more interesting that night, LG Electronics Indonesia arranged an “experience zone” where visitors got to find out for themselves what LG’s various mobile phone series could offer. There were also performances and meet-and-greet sessions featuring the country’s top celebrities and musicians.
