Indosat donates Rp 2b for Padang earthquake victims

Indosat is donating cash and products worth more than Rp 2 billion to the victims of the Padang earthquake.

            The amount includes Rp 500 million handed over to the Indonesian Red Cross’ (PMI) West Sumatra office and Rp 400 million worth of goods to the West Sumatra Disaster Management Team.

            Indosat has also earmarked 200 StarOne starter packs and credits for volunteer workers, regional government officials and hospital workers.

            The company has also deployed Indosat Mobile Clinics to provide free health facilities, established telecommunication posts to provide free communication facilities in five areas and services programs for IM3 and Mentari customers, extended the validity of cards by 15 days from Oct.15 and offered 60 SMS and 60 minutes call-time for free.
