BlackBerry’s dominance in the Indonesian smart phone market can be attributed to its full Internet supported features, while to date no other manufacturers have come up with something more convenient, practical and compact.
LG Mobile, a Korean based cellular phone giant, refuses to keep swimming against the current. It has decided to embrace the trend and released the LG GW300, its own version of an Internet supported cellular phone --- or messaging phone --- at its best.
Adopting the full QWERTY bar, the GW300 has a 2.4 inch LCD screen with 262,000 TFT color display on its front. Internet connectivity is its main arsenal, connecting facebook, LiveSquare!, Yahoo Messenger and Gameloft conveniently through EDGE network.
Complete with Threaded SMS feature, A2DP technology for Bluetooth earphone, 2MP camera and a bundled feature with Tri, the cell phone is ridiculously affordable at Rp 1,499,000.
“We have prepared the GW300 well to become the ideal messaging phone to answer the needs of social networking activities,” said Usun Pringgodigdo, the general manager of LG Mobile Communications Indonesia.
