PT Garuda Mataram Motor, the sole distributor for Volkswagen cars in Indonesia, has recently introduced the new Golf GTI to the Indonesian market.
Golf, the legendary hatch-back vehicle from VW, has been around since 1976 and its sixth generation now boasts a powerful two-liter Turbo DSI engine with better driving experience and less fuel consumption.
The New Golf GTI sports an increase of 10 hp output from its predecessor, yet with better a fuel ratio at 1 liter per 13.5 km (combined) and a lower CO emission rate.
On the outside, the car features a honeycomb radiator grille, aggressive V-shaped hood and sleek black radiator with diagonal red framing. Inside, customers can choose between standard and leather seating to accompany Golf’s stylish steering wheel with stitch accent.
In terms of safety, New Golf GTI is equipped with seven airbags and Whiplash-Optimized Head Restraint (WOKS) to protect the head area from direct impact in an accident.
