Oakwood Premier Cozmo Jakarta, on behalf of Oakwood, has declared the continuation of its partnership with ACT (Care for Humanity) in an effort to provide relief to the victims of the Padang and Pariaman earthquake.
The associates and management at Oakwood have raised money to support earthquake survivors, aimed at helping the families with the construction of around 200 shelters in the affected area.
At a special presentation on Oct. 29, the monetary contribution was handed over by Arlene Suroso, the executive assistant manager of rooms, and Retno Murdiarti, Oakwood human resources manager, to Suhartono and Irvan Fardani, general affairs officers of ACT.
“We are deeply saddened by the arising tragedies caused by the earthquake in Padang. We at Oakwood wanted to show our attention and support by offering this contribution. I hope the affected families can start rebuilding their lives and homes as soon as possible,” said Suroso, representing Oakwood.
