The new BMW 750Li has scooped up two awards in the recent Car of The Year 2009 award at the Ritz Carlton Pacific Place Jakarta on Nov. 3, 2009 by mobilmotor, namely the best exclusive luxury sedan and the fastest car.
The new BMW 7 Series, currently the market leader in premium limousines in the above Rp 2 billion segment, recorded 37 units in sales up to the end of September 2009 or twice the number in 2008 and is expecting an increase in sales with the release of the new BMW 730Li in Jakarta last week.
Receiving the awards of behalf of the company was Ramesh Divyanathan, President Director of BMW Indonesia.
“We are so proud of this achievement. Our BMW 7 Series offers supremacy in its elegant presence combined with its outstanding engineering, superior comfort, unbeatable performance and top safety features,” he said
The new BMW 7 Series will be used to transport the heads of state from 21 APEC member countries including President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Indonesian delegations during the 20th APEC Economic Leaders Meeting, to be held in Singapore next week.
