1,472 New Honda CR-V sold in 10 days

February 2010 was a terrific month for Honda, having sold 4,431 vehicles throughout the nation. For the record, January marked the sale of 3,755 vehicles, 18 percent fewer than February’s record.

            The launch of the New Honda CR-V on Feb. 12, was apparently the key to the company’s success, selling 1,472 of the cars in just 10 days after its initial release. The Honda Jazz became the second biggest selling vehicle for Honda this February, reaching 1,373 units in total, while Honda Freed recorded 1,007 units in total.

            In the sedan segment, 301 All New Honda City cars were sold after recording 218 units sold in January. The New Honda Civic’s record also increased by 43 percent in February, reaching 194 units in total, while the Accord sold 84 units in the same month.

            With these records combined, Honda sold a total of 8,186 vehicles in the first two months of 2010. Let’s see if the record goes up this month.
