Binus-Century Fund Bike to commemorate Jakarta 484th anniversary

In collaboration with Binus International School of hospitality and management, Hotel Century Park held a charity event called Binus-Century Fund Bike, attended by approximately 200 participants on Sunday, June 12, 2011.

The event was held to commemorate the 484^th anniversary of Jakarta, and as a social welfare drive, as half of the profits earned from the event were donated to Balita Sehat Foundation.

The cycling route started from the parking lot of Century Park Hotel, leading to Pintu Satu Senayan, passing through Jl. Sudirman and Hotel Indonesia traffic circle then back to the hotel. Joining the event was hotel general manager Bilal Chamsine along with other members of the hotel management, Bina Nusantara students, representatives of Gelora Bung Karno sports complex and several members of the media.

Participants were entertained by MC Haykal Kamil, Aditya, Abang None, Miss Tourism 2009 Andara Rainy, and other exciting performances. Besides enjoying a variety of traditional Jakarta dishes such as Nasi Panglima and Jakarta’ porridge, the participants also had the opportunity to win attractive door prizes provided by the committee.

The registration fee for the event was only Rp 85,000 which was inclusive of a T-shirt, snacks and lunch.
