
Coinciding with an historic moment as Chevrolet marked its 100th anniversary; Chevy Classic Club Indonesia (CCCI) was officially formed and established in Indonesia on June 8, 2011, supported by Chevrolet classic car enthusiasts who will soon join the Indonesia Classic Car Enthusiasts Association (PPMKI).
CCCI has already 59 members in Greater Jakarta, and will shortly be followed with registered members from West Java, Central Java, East Java and Bali. The Chevrolet Classic Car Lovers Club in Indonesia has plans for a series of positive programs in the future for its members and the public.
The launching of CCCI was attended by GM Indonesia marketing and public relations director Debora Amelia Santoso. “GM Indonesia always supports Chevrolet community car clubs and Chevy Lovers in Indonesia and other countries as well. The clubs are real proof of product quality as well as Chevrolet brand equity,” she said.
The Chevy Centennial Journalist Competition was also announced during the club launch. The competition, open to all media in Indonesia is themed The Chevrolet Journey in the Last 100 Years in Indonesia and also worldwide. The winner will be announced on July 31 at the International Motor Show.
