Indonesian Palm Oil Conference

Indonesian Palm Oil Conference and Price Outlook 2010 is for all stakeholders in the palm oil industry to assemble and obtain reliable information regarding palm oil price forecast and market trends in global market for the approaching new year. The conference will address challenges and opportunities faced by the palm oil stakeholders.

The conference will be divided into six sessions, in a three day seminar. The first session will discuss the government’s policy on the oil palm development and investment issues. The second session will discuss about the experiences of Indonesia and Malaysia in sustainable oil palm development and CO2 emission on oil palm.

On the second day, the third and fourth session will focus on supply and demand on fats & oils. The fifth session will discuss about current status, trends and prospects of biodiesel.

The third day of the conference, in the sixth session will talk about the palm and lauric oil prices’ forecast: short term, mid-term and long term.

The event will be held on 1 - 4 December 2009 at Bali International Convention center - The Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali
