Bali’s Keliki style, depicting a village with scenes of ngaben (Balinese
funeral pyre), calonarang (Balinese drama of good vs. evil), barong, and
ogoh-ogoh (statue paraded during
pre-Nyepi exorcism ritual). The Keliki style was developed by peasant
artists in the villages of Keliki and Payangan, 10 miles north of Ubud.
