Jakarta Post Foundation is an ideal vehicle for bringing
together all of the stakeholders in the community involved
in education improvement.
Our education foundation builds partnerships with
corporations, foundations, governments and nonprofit
organizations at all levels: local, state, national and
international.
Today, we face tough challenges in our community trying to
grapple with growth, funding, business and community
support.
The Jakarta Post Foundation cannot tackle all of these
things alone. We believe in forming partnerships and
building coalitions to take action to address these
challenges. This partnership, if leveraged properly, can
continue to create and inspire innovative and creative
changes in the way we educate our children.
VISION
& MISION
Many of us at The Jakarta
Post care passionately about education and we believe
supporting it is the right thing to do. Our main objective
is to support education that foster’s both teacher’s and
student’s love of learning and their sense of citizenship in
a global community. It is our intention to stimulate new
thinking and to show our strong commitment and involvement
in public education through vatious life-long learning
activities.
We believe that young people cannot do anything without good
education.
Therefore our vision is to help build a public education
system that inspires every young person to achieve their
best. To realize our mission and vision, The Jakata Post has
established a non-profit educational foundation to provide a
legal umbrella for the company’s educational programs.
