Yellowcard bids farewell with final album, world tour

After 19 years of success, American rock band Yellowcard has decided to release their final self-titled album and hold their last world tour as a farewell for their fans.

fter 19 years of success, American rock band Yellowcard has decided to release their final self-titled album and hold their last world tour as a farewell for their fans. The band have also released a music video  Rest in Peace that shows their journey as a band.

“After countless discussions and months of thought, we have decided that it is time for Yellowcard to come to an end,” said the band via its official website. “Once this final chapter for Yellowcard comes to a close, we will all be heading in new directions in our lives, but these memories will never leave us.”

Their final album will be released on Sept. 30 via Hopeless Records, while their ‘The Final World Tour’ is slated to come out on Oct. 6 in Texas, the US, followed by other countries including the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Australia and Japan.

Established in 1997 in Jacksonville, Florida, Yellowcard consists of vocalist and guitarist Ryan Key, violinist Sean Mackin, guitarist Ryan Mendez and bassist Josh Portman. Some of their renowned songs are Ocean Avenue, Only One and Way Away.
