ell Indonesia launched two laptops from the premium-class Inspiron series that targeted gaming and multimedia consumers in Jakarta on Thursday.
The 14-inch Inspiron 14 7000 and 15-inch Inspiron 15 5000 are said to be more affordable when compared to other current premium laptops on the market.
"Our target market is the millenial generation or Gen Y; they can be individuals, students or those who are fond of [consuming] entertainment," said Dell Indonesia consumer country director Martin Wibisono during a press conference as quoted by kompas.com.

The 14-inch laptop comes with a aluminium material design and finish, and features a Full HD 1080p resolution with 7-millimeter bezels, while its sibling boasts a slimmer body with a thickness of only 2.3 centimeters, despite having a DVD drive. As for other specifications, both offer Intel 7th generation Kaby Lake processors, DDR4 RAM memory of 4GB to 8GB-capacity and the option of a 128GB SSD or 1TB hard disk.
Available starting this month in local retail stores, the laptops will be sold for a starting price of Rp 12.4 million (US$927) for the Inspiron 14 7000 and Rp 8.7 million for the Inspiron 15 5000. (kes)
