nline music streaming platform JOOX Indonesia rolled out a live broadcast dubbed “Streaming 12 hours JOOX Live Festival” Saturday, from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. at Grand Indonesia shopping mall in Central Jakarta.
Benny Ho, the senior director of business development at Chinese-based developer Tencent, stated that the festival was intended to be an interactive streaming platform that could also be enjoyed off-air.
Among the performers at the festival were Bandung acoustic musician Mocca, rapper Iwa K, band Ecoutez, DJ Riri and several other local musicians.

Aside from music performances, the festival also featured JOOX Indonesia’s daily broadcasts, which included lifestyle talk show JOOX Hush, JOOX Life Hacks and music talk show Extra JOOX.
The programs are broadcasted regularly through V Station, a feature that lets users watch broadcast of musicians live while interacting with other users through an internal chatting platform. One of the programs, which was previously announced in October was Shalsabila’s live broadcast, garnered 100,000 viewers and gained more than 2 million likes in just an hour, JOOX Indonesia claimed.
