ogyakarta-based pop punk band Endank Soekamti has released a music video for its single "Liburan" (Vacation), which is taken from the group’s latest album, Soekamti Day.

Released on May 15, the music video features several scenes that were shot using a 360-degree camera, showing two members of the band, bassist and vocalist Erix Soekamti and guitarist Dory Soekamti, traveling in a car. It also includes fighting scenes that were choreographed by Erix himself.

The music video features a superhero character named Super SAS, who saves a group of children from the video’s villain. The children of Erix and Dory also make an appearance in the video.

Directed by Erix, the clip serves as a temporary “farewell” for the band its members will travel to Papua to record their eighth album. Their journey will start in Sorong and end in Manokwari, where they will visit and teach the children of West Papua’s coast.

Meanwhile, the album will be recorded onboard a phinisi (traditional South Sulawesi sailing ship). (kes)
