Slank's Bimbim to compose BPJS song
Slank drummer and co-founder, Bimbim, has been asked to compose a BPJS-related song, following the signing of a partnership agreement between BPJS and PT Join Kandidat.

lank drummer and co-founder, Bimbim, has been asked by the services and inter-agency director of the Social Insurance Administration Organization (BPJS), E. Ilyas Lubis, to compose a BPJS-related song. The rock star attended the partnership signing between BPJS and PT Join Kandidat on Monday, in his capacity as commissioner of the technology company.
“I was asked to write an easy-to-remember song [regarding BPJS],” Bimbim said, as quoted by Tempo.co.
PT Join Kandidat, a technology company and creator of an employment-related mobile application, has partnered with BPJS to raise awareness about the importance for workers to have social security insurance. The partnership agreement was signed by Ilyas Lubis from BPJS and director of PT Join Kandidat, Adistya Fajar Pietarto.

“We are open to partnership deals with many other parties so that the implementation of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan protection can be maximized,” said Ilyas. “We appreciate Join Kandidat’s efforts to raise awareness of social security in the many layers of the community, including Slankers,” he added, referring to band's large and loyal fan base.
The partnership will benefit the Join Candidate community, by providing access to information on BPJS programs as well as sign-up and payment processes for the social security program. Bimbim expressed hope that even street musicians would realize the importance of having social security insurance, which includes protection from accidents, during old age and through the provision of a pension.
