ollywood actress Kajol unveiled on Thursday her wax figure at Madame Tussauds Singapore, the newest addition to the museum’s International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards Experience.

"It is truly an honor to have my own wax figure here at Madame Tussauds Singapore. The entire experience from my sitting to the actual unveiling of the figure has been surreal," Kajol said in a statement released by the museum.

The process took five months, according to the statement, to create detailed and lifelike representation of the actress. Kajol's wax figure is wearing a dress donated by Prabal Gurung, a dark blue gown that placed the actress on the best-dressed list across Indian publications during a red carpet walk in 2017.

"It is an honor to welcome Kajol personally to our attraction for the unveiling of her wax figure. With so many of our visitors coming from India, we want to make the Bollywood experience one of the highlights when visiting Singapore," said Madame Tussauds Singapore's general manager Alex Ward.

At the museum's IIFA Awards Experience, Kajol's figure joins other Bollywood actors, including Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Madhuri Dixit and Ranbir Kapoor.

The section of the museum is also interactive, allowing visitors to walk the green carpet, take selfies and dance with backup dancers on the big screen. (liz/wng)
