d Sheeran will finally perform for his fans in Indonesia on May 3, 2019, at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Central Jakarta. The concert will be part of the British singer-songwriter’s Divide World Tour 2019.

According to kompas.com, tickets will go on sale on Dec. 5 in six categories, with prices starting at Rp 550,000 (US$38.31).

Peter Harjani, the CEO of concert promoter PK Entertainment, said that, for security reasons, the show would be a seated concert.

He also shared that Sheeran would present around 16 to 18 songs over 90 minutes.

PK Entertainment marketing director Harry Sudarma, meanwhile, said Sheeran would personally choose his opening acts.

“We are still waiting for the finalization of the opening acts,” said Harry, explaining that it could be either local or international performers.

As for tour riders, Peter said Sheeran had not asked for anything extraordinary. However, the promoter has prepared various facilities for the singer’s comfort, including local delicacies like rendang and nasi goreng.

“No specific [demands were made]. Everything is still [normal],” said Peter, saying that, for a singer such as Sheeran, the promoter needed to provide a five-star hotel with 24-hour gym and room service.

Sheeran was previously scheduled to entertain his fans in Indonesia on Nov. 9 last year, but the musician canceled the show after injuring his hand in a cycling accident in London. (jes/wng)
