For some people, dogs are more than just pets. They are like family. However, pet poaching is rampant across cities in Indonesia. In Solo, Central Java, there are hundreds of food stalls serving dog meat in their main dishes. The World Organization for Animal Health has declared that dogs are not included as livestock.
