President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo opened on Thursday the Bali Fintech Agenda, held during the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group Annual Meetings in Nusa Dua, Bali. The seminar served as the platform for the publishing of a set of principles for consideration to foster benefits and mitigate risk in the face of rapid development in financial technology. President Jokowi emphasized in his remarks the importance of maintaining an encouraging environment to ensure that experimentation continues to flourish and subsequently lead to innovation in financial systems and technology.
