Three killed in road crash

SUBANG, West Java: Three people were killed and two children seriously injured after an intercity bus struck another vehicle near Ciasem market here on Friday.
Wahono, 35, his wife Tini, 30, and an ojek (motorbike taxi) driver, Giman, died instantly. The couple's son, Cahyono, 8, lost his right foot, and his sister, Ika Kartika, 7, broke her left arm and leg.
The two children were admitted to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital in Jakarta,some 120 kilometers west of here.
Witnesses said the bus hit the family's vehicle as it was attempting to pass a truck loaded with cattle.
An angry crowd beat the bus driver before setting his bus ablaze. (06)
