SEMARANG (JP): Central Java men's tae kwon doin Derry Darmawan will competein the bantam class at the Southeast Asian Tae kwon do Championships in Vietnam from Dec. 13 to Dec. 15.
Derry will participate in the event with men's finweight Alam, men's flyweight Satrio Rahardani, men's featherweight Kirom, women's middleweightMargareta and women's welterweight Etina.
Central Java coach Bambang Wijanarko said Derry, the 2000 National Games gold medalist, has been undergoing intensive training during the fasting month.
