BOGOR: U.S.-based biotech crop company Monsanto has awarded four students of the Bogor Institute of Agriculture (IPB) with scholarships totaling US$12,5000, the institute announced on Thursday.
Deputy rector of student affairs Yusuf Sudohadi said four other students had received similar scholarships in 2002.
""The scholarships cover the students' tuition and other expenses for three years,"" he said after meeting Monsanto's local representative, PT Monagro Kimia executive Edwin S. Saragih. -- JP
