With regard to Mark Gibbs' letter, titled Bank Permata debacle, published in The Jakarta Post on Feb. 14, PermataBank would like to express our gratitude for the information submitted to us and to convey our sincere apology for the trouble that was encountered by the reader.
We feel it is necessary for us to convey to Mark Gibbs that the matter brought forward by him has already been rectified by PermataBank.
In view of the fact that the affected customer is, up to this point of time, overseas and could not be directly contacted, we therefore would like to convey to Mark Gibbs that our bank, through our branch in Ubud, would be more than happy to assist you in following up on the matter.
