TANGERANG: Repairs for the northern ring road linking Tangerang regency's districts of Mauk, Pakuhaji, Teluk Naga and Kosambi will begin in June, an official said Monday.
The head of the regency's public works agency, Hermansyah, said that the administration had allocated Rp 125 billion (about US$14 million) for the roadwork.
""We will announce the results of the tender, participated in by 27 local contractors, in the near future,"" he said.
The roadwork will be divided into two projects: work on a 15-kilometer stretch of road from Tanjung Kait in Mauk district to Tanah Merah in Teluk Naga district, and a 10-km stretch linking Tanjung Pasir in Teluk Naga district with Kosambi district. --JP
