IPB signs MOU with Czech University

BOGOR: The Bogor Institute of Agriculture (IPB) has signed an agreement with the Czech University of Agriculture Prague on a student exchange program and a number of scientific studies.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by IPB rector Ahmad Ansori Mattjik and the rector of the Czech university, Jan Hron, at the IPB campus in Darmaga, Bogor.

After the ceremony, Frantisek Kumhala, the vice dean of international relations at the Czech university, said the university was interested in working with the IPB because it was one of Indonesia's top universities.

The IPB has similar agreements with universities in the U.S., Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, Japan, Thailand and Australia. --JP
