Patients forced out of wards in blaze

JAKARTA: A blaze caused by an electrical short circuit in the cafeteria of Hermina Hospital in Jatinegara, East Jakarta, forced patients out of their wards Monday.
The fire started at around 4 p.m. and spread to other parts of the hospital's building.
East Jakarta Fire Department sent 15 fire trucks, officer Subani said as quoted by newsportal Detikcom.
As of 5 p.m., there were no reported casualties as firemen and police officials were still battling to put out the blaze. --JP
