Mother of a contest at Tangerang mall

TANGERANG: It was mother's day Sunday at Plaza Bumi Serpong Damai shopping mall in Tangerang, thanks to a contest that encouraged children to show their moms some love.

Event organizer NAV Production invited children to demonstrate their love for their mothers through poetry reading, drawing and a mother and child photo contest.

""The contests are for children in playgroup up through elementary school,"" organizing committee member Cut Lala said.

""We hope these contests can stimulate the talent and creativity of children while window-shopping with their mothers,"" she said. -- JP
