Brawijaya hosts seminar

Brawijaya University in Malang, East Java will hold an international seminar on Indonesian and Australian environmental law from Dec. 18 to 20.

Experts from Australia and Indonesia will share information with regard to environmental law, the justice system, cases and environmental law enforcement in both countries.

The seminar will feature Australian legal experts, including Professor Ben Boer, co-director of the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law University of Ottawa, member of the Australian Center for Environmental Law University of Sydney and the Hon. Justice Brian Preston, Judge of Land and Environment Court of New South Wales.

Indonesian legal experts, such as I Nyoman Nurjaya of the School of Law at Brawijaya University and Laode Syarif, a senior lecturer in International Environmental Law at Hasanudin University, and PhD Candidate from Sydney University will also present their papers in the seminar.
