Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) will hold the Second Indonesia-Malaysia Joint Conference on Mathematics and Statistics on Jan. 11.
Taking place at its campus in Surabaya, East Java, the conference will feature several speakers, including keynote speaker Dato' Kamel Ariffin Mohd Atan, the director of the Institute for Mathematical Research (INSPEM) at Putra Malaysia University.
Malaysian experts such as Engku Muhammad Nazri, dean of the School of Quantitative Study, Utara Malaysia University, and Ismail Mohd bin Ibrahim of the Science and Technology University will also present papers at the conference.
The conference will also feature Indonesian experts such as Asep Saepudin of the Bogor Institute of Agriculture, Nur Iriawan of ITS and Widodo of Gajah Mada University in Yogyakarta.
To join the conference, foreign participants are required to pay a registration fee of US$200, while local participants and students will be charged Rp 400,000 and Rp 250,000, respectively.
