JAKARTA: Indonesia's men's doubles team of Prima Simpatiaji and Bonit Wiryawan won the US$15,000 Australian F3 Futures tennis tournament in Sale, Victoria, Australia, on Friday.

The national duo defeated the top seeded team of Carsten Ball and Dane Fernandez 6-4, 6-3, detik.com reported.

""We played all out, no pressure at all. We focused more on our doubles match after losing in the singles,"" Prima said.

Both players and junior Elbert Sie are members of Indonesia's Davis Cup team. They have been competing in Australia and New Zealand since last February. The title is their best achievement since joining the tour.

The three players will head to Canberra for the Australian F4 Futures. -- JP
