GMIS, India XI to meet in JCA final

JAKARTA: Gandhi Memorial International School (GMIS) will clash with India XI in the Jakarta Cricket Association's (JCA) 2007 final on April 29 at the Cibubur cricket ground in East Jakarta.

Defending champion GMIS scored an easy victory over new entrant Bogor CC to reach the final, while India XI defeated Indorama Cricket Club.

Last year, GMIS became the league champion after trouncing India XI in the final.

JCA will also hold an annual dinner in cooperation with Cricket Indonesia to commemorate the award winners of the league, which will take place on May 26 with Australian all-rounder Greg Matthews as the special guest. -- JP
