Singing contest at UI

For the second time, the University of Indonesia (UI) organized a singing contest for students billed UI Pop Star 2007.
Registration opened April 16 at the Student Service Center at UI Campus, Depok, West Java.
Auditions took place May 12 and 13 and semi-finals were held May 19. The final is due to take place at the auditorium May 26.
The winner of the competition will receive Rp 3 million in cash plus a certificate and shopping voucher. The runner-up and third-placed contestants will get Rp 2 million and Rp 1 million, respectively. -- JP
