YOGYAKARTA: At least 4,205 of the 32,700 students who sat the entrance tests for Yogyakarta's Gadjah Mada University (UGM) have been accepted at the university.
The results of the entrance tests were announced through the print media, the university's website and through SMS, said Budi Prasetya Widyobroto, UGM's academic administration director.
The selection of new students at UGM is conducted through three processes -- the selection of talented students (1,368 students already selected), the entrance tests (4,205 students) and new student entrance selection (1,532 students), Budi said.
Registration for entrance selection will be between June 19 to 29, while the tests for this final cohort will be on July 4 to 5, Budi said.
