PALU, Central Sulawesi: Police in Central Sulawesi continue to hunt for eight people believed to be responsible for a series of terrorist acts in Poso.

Central Sulawesi Police chief Brig. Gen. Badrodin Haiti said police would continue to search for the suspects, known as Upi, Iin, Yasin Lakita, Iwan Asapa, Nanto Bojel, Papa Isram, Maryono and Enal Ta'u.

""We have still not been able to arrest them. Some are still in Poso, while Enal Ta'u is believed to have escaped to Sumatra,"" he told The Jakarta Post on Monday.

He said police are close to finding several of the suspects, but are waiting for the right time to arrest them.

""Let's just wait and see,"" he said. -- JP
