JAKARTA: The Attorney General's Office will soon uncover the progress of its investigations into four corruption cases allegedly involving the youngest son of former president Soeharto -- Hutomo ""Tommy"" Mandala Putra.
""There are four cases (involving Tommy) that we are investigating. We'll expose them before August 22,"" Attorney General Hendarman Supandji told detik.com news portal Friday.
He said only two of the four cases would be used to help build a case against Tommy at the Royal British Court in Guernsey, the United Kingdom.
""The two cases have strong indications toward Tommy's corruption involvement,"" Hendarman said.
He said three of the cases were being handled by the Office of Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes.
The fourth case is being handled by the office of Junior Attorney General for State Administrative Crimes.
The four cases include the Clove Buffering and Marketing Agency (BPPC), the Timor Putra National (TPN) car project, the Goro land swap deal and Sempati Air. -- JP
