Sardines run amok at Carrefour

JAKARTA: A sales promotion woman had her nose broken Tuesday when several cans of sardines fell off a shelf at the Carrefour in Mal Puri Indah, West Jakarta.
Elshinta news radio reported the woman was arranging the cans at the time of the incident.
The bleeding was so intense that several Carrefour employees rushed the woman to a staff room. She was later transported to a hospital for treatment.
Carrefour's corporate affairs director, Irawan D. Kadarman, confirmed the incident but said the woman's injury was not serious.
""It was just a small accident,"" he told The Jakarta Post. - JP
